My Career goal is to become a Analyst/Data Scientist. I have created this page with the purpose to track and set some objectives that will help me become one.
Basically, to become a Data Analyst/Data Scientist I need to acquire knowledge on 3 fields: Computer Science(machine learning, software development, database),Statistics and have some Subject Matter Expertise.
To acomplish this I knew I had to get the fundamentals of CS(OOP, data structures,algorithm,etc). I focused on getting these by taking some extra classes at UCD
Machine Learning:
NLP and Machine Learning classes at UCDavis were a great place to start in this field. I am now taking extra classes to further my education on this subject(proof of completition avalalible upon request) :

Applied Data Science with Python Specialization COMPLETED(DECEMBER 23, 2019)
Databases
I took a Databse class at UCD.We learned the basics on realtional databses,SQL and how to store data by creating a Instagram-like app.
Deep Learning Specialization(Deeplearning.ai, Cursera) COMPLETED(January 15, 2020)
I have a good fundation on this topic, every now and then I review the classes I took so I dont forget what I learned. You can find the classes I took on my transcrip of UCD at the bottom on the "Profile/Contact_info" tab
At the moment I am open to experiment new fields. I plan on first getting the fundamentals (the top 2 fields) and later figuring out the Subject Matter Expertice.
